“I have a Tracfone LG442BG. I want to switch my existing phone number from there to my Tracfone ZTE Android. If I get this new SIM card, will I be able to transfer my number from the LG to the ZTE? Is is possible to just "swap" numbers between the phones”

Doable via tracfone.com website or by calling 1-800-867-7183. If doing online on tracfone.com, click Activate, then click continue under I'm BRINGING MY OWN S.PHONE, then enter your new SIM card number and later select transfer the phone number.

If both phones are currently active during the process, the number attached to the ZTE phone will be deactivated to accommodate the one that you will be transferring. You may then reactivate the LG phone with the deactivated number should you intend to swap the numbers. As for the SIM card, you will not be needing the Keep Your Own Phone SIM card since you both have TracFone branded phones. As long as the SIM card on the ZTE phone is not expired, you will be able to use it for the transfer process.
