- Answer I would be careful when you buy a Tracfone from BestBuy. I bought one recently and had it shipped to me. When I tried to activate it, Tracfone informed me that it had not been scanned properly by BestBuy before they sent it out. I tried for weeks to prove that I had purchased it properly online, but I finally gave up... I swallowed the price of the phone, and bought one from Tracfone.

- Answer Hi. My name is Maria and I work with TracFone Wireless. We no longer have Triple Minute Plan benefits on all our TracFone device. However, as an incentive to customers, all TracFone customers upgrade from a feature phone to Smartphone will get the Triple Minute benefit as a promotion for upgrading to a new Smartphone. Also, if customers currently have the Triple minute on their Smartphone, it will be transferred to the new Smartphone.

- Answer Hi. This is Mae from TracFone Wireless. Yes. You can purchase either of the Smartphone or Basic Phone plans. It will triple if you'll add a regular plan. On the other hand, you will receive the exact amount of minutes for Smartphone Only plans.
