It does VoLTE (Voice over Long Term Evolution) over 4G LTE. It does not have a 5G radio in it. It can also do WiFi calling as well. If it did, it would likely be called 5G VoNR (Voice over New Radio) but each carrier has their own name for 5G. So be aware of that as well as 5Gs extremely limited range of about 1,000 feet if you are looking to purchase a 5G handset.
