I do not know the performance of Tracfone for this area code. You need to clarify this with tracfone for this issue. My phone is working very well with Tracfone area code.I like this phone very much. Good luck.

It's TracFone prepaid wireless, I use it with SafeLink it works fine. Are you up in the mountains of West Virginia? If so it has roaming capability.
