This irritates me too! I looked online and found a manual for the Core Prime, and it does allow nuisance call blocking when purchased as an "unlocked" phone. But since we bought the phone as a Tracfone, it has Tracfone software, and they removed that feature. They don't want us to block calls because then we could block their "offers." It's very frustrating. I have not had the trouble that you are having with the voice mail. Tracfone is hard to deal with.
