I have Tracfone as my carrier. To display the remaining minutes, texts and data I had to download the app from Tracfone. The information was on the Tracfone webpage. Perhaps you can access Safe link info in a similar manner.

I was told by safe link to message 611611 then type 225 in the message box. The balance will show minute, text and data balance plus other information that is available by text. It’s simple enough. If you don’t have Verizon I don’t know if this information is helpful. Good luck
