Your previous plan will end as soon as you activate your Smart phone with Tracfone. I lost time on my 3G phone, but with Tracfone, you can transfer airtime & minutes. They will convert the previous account to GB (what ever that is), air minutes, and texts allowed. So, I lost the end date from my previous phone, but got a big credit for the 60 day period purchase of active service. I will need to decide if this Tracfone is ok for me long term meaning one year at a time. If you do use this phone, one trick I learned is to enable WiFi thru "Settings". When you do this, every thing you do on Tracfone is charged first to WiFi account, which I have, so I do not use any of the GB stuff, air minutes, nor texts by phone. After WiFi would come "mobile data", so then you are using Tracfone services. By the way, I figure this phone will cost me about 50% more per year if I buy a year. If I buy less, (by the month) it could run up to 250% more. That is how Tracfone gets you by using their services of mobile data, air minutes, and texts ! Peter 18February2022, Seattle, Washington
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. This is Katrina from TracFone Wireless. If you add the new Unlimited Talk & Text plan, you will keep your current benefits. None of your benefits will be lost. In addition to that, your current service end date will be extended by 30 additional service days when you add an Unlimited Talk & Text plan. You will also be able to use your previous benefits once the Unlimited Talk & Text plan expires. Thank you!
