Please try again later.I'm on the phone w/tracfone right now, because they are trying to insist to me that this ZTEZ233VL is a smart phone when I activated it today (I had to do it over-the-phone because it was having a problem to activate it online). It's a simple flip cell phone. After being told repeatedly that it's a smart phone, I asked to speak w/manager and asked the manager if they've ever heard of a brand-new smart phone flip phone for $19, uggh... I noticed that the signal bars of this phone are not as sensitive as other phones I have owned. I was on the phone for 59 minutes - no resolution. I just wanted to replace my simple basic feature flip cell phone, this is problematic if they charge differently for services for smart phones (I'm in-deep right now trying to find the descriptions of fees and everything)... the proper number of minutes transferred from my old phone. I have no need for a smart phone, I use a laptop, so I have no need for a smart phone bill, not yet anyway, tracfone has been simple and easy, except for this. It is a only a cell phone but labeled as a smart phone, currently, by tracfone w/their system.

I have this exact phone in my hand and I am trying to transfer the number to a Samsung Model SCH-S 380C (GP) phone (it is my 73-year-old mother's phone). When I call to transfer it, the customer support people are telling me that the ZTE flip phone is a SMART phone and that the Samsung is a BASIC phone. She insisted that the ZTE phone has an Android operating system even though I read her every item on the "about phone list" and Android version is not on it. Transferring from a smart phone to a basic phone does not transfer her minutes. She has nearly 7K minutes plus or minus so I am not transferring it until this is straightened out. Basically I need someone from someone at Tracfone...and Edin, you know what you are talking about.
