No, this is purely a plug adapter that allows various foreign plugs to be used in the USA for dual voltage electronics such as cell phones. US voltage is 110/120, while most foreign voltage is 220//240. You must obtain an AC voltage converter that converts the foreign 220/240 to 110/120. The converter will accept your US plug, but depending upon the type of male plug on the converter, you might need to obtain an adapter from the converter to various foreign receptacles. For at least 25 years I have used a dual converter travel set through out Asia and Europe without any problems. In fact I just returned from a European trip that included Ireland.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is no. This is a plug adaptor, not a voltage converter. If you try to use it as a voltage converter, you will destroy whatever you plug into it. You can get voltage adaptors relatively cheap, however, they are heavy. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe most of our electronics come with chargers that will work for 110 as well as 220. Thus, we only need to plug in our chargers into this adapter. I believe the adapter only allows us to use the outlets. The conversion is automatically taken care of by our chargers. I used this adapter with my phone chargers and my mac charger. I did not have any problems in Japan and Singapore. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to the UK it worked great for both my laptop, and phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product is only an adapter, not a converter. If you are trying to charge your computer, most computers have dual voltage capability. Check with your computer manufacturer. The USB port is universal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.used it in Scotland with my Galaxy S-5, IPAD, and Blackberry. No issues. Worked Great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will not, check the input on your device however. If it says 110- 220 the you can just plug it in. I used my laptop, phone charger and razor that way in Australia.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this does not do voltage conversion. Your device needs to be dual voltage compatible. The device(s) should say "input 110/230 v" on it.
