- Answer Can't put the URL up here, but use the search box at the top of the Best Buy site to find "TurboTax." You'll get a number of options. Choose the version you need from the list on the page. We use Deluxe. Make sure you choose the "platform" you use (Mac or Windows) from the Compatible Platforms dropdown list on the right of the product page. Choose "Digital" from the Software Format dropdown list. Check out. You will then receive an email from Best Buy with instructions for downloading (takes a while before the email arrives). You will have to create an account on the TurboTax site to download, if you have not done so before. Download and install the software. Update the software when prompted after installation. Then do your taxes. You only get 1 free state return. Efile costs $29.95 for the STATE return but is free for the FEDERAL return. We always pay it although it always feels like extortion. Hope this helps.

- Answer You can only do (5) Federal returns free electronic. You get to download only one State for free. Filing your State return is a cost for most States the only State that I know doesn't charge is New York. You can prepare unlimited both Federal and State and mail

QuestionHello, I've read conflicting responses. With this deluxe version, does turbo tax allow direct deposit into your bank AND do they charge a fee for this????? To make is simple.....ARE THEY'RE ANY ADDITIONAL HIDDEN FEES AFTER YOUR DELUXE PURHASE?

- Answer There are no extra fees to file your federal return electronically and you are able to do direct deposit. The state of California does charge a fee to file electronically, it’s not a turbo tax fee

- Answer The digital download is a file that is downloaded directly to your computer from the seller, you do not receive a CD. I can only presume that a non-digital means they are going to send you a CD that you can download to your computer once you receive the CD.

- Answer Yes, you can. In the past Turbo Tax was monitoring that and preventing it, but that ended up with a disastrous customer relationship with customers. They may have stopped that. I have installed Turbo tax on more that one computer in past years. I have not done that this year with my digital version, yet.

- Answer Yes you can file 5 state returns as well. But, all the state returns have to be for the same state. You can purchase additional states as needed.
