“If I have Win 11 on my new computer with S will I have to turn it off to run turbo tax 25 /26 desk version of home and business. I can't buy TurboTax at windows store. Or should I just turn off S and download . I found H& R Block but not TurboTax. ???”

In order to use software not included in the Microsoft store you will need to disable S mode. If this is something you will not want to do, I recommend trying TurboTax Online through our website. Per Microsoft - "Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively for apps that are installed from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode."
