• We were able to e-file for both Federal and State, however we did pay an extra $20 to e-file State, Federal was included with Turbotax.

• TurboTax Deluxe and Premium both allow for e-filing state returns as they are included in their product. There is an additional charge to e-file the state, but its only about $20, if I remember correctly. DO NOT try to apply proceeds from your refund to file your state return electronic as TurboTax will smack you with an additional amount to cover their "handling"...….which was about $40 last year, if I recall correctly. Just charge to a credit card.

• The Turbotax program I purchased from Best Buy included a state return which could be filed electronically.
