- Answer If your laptop is equipped with a single headset jack (one jack for Audio and Microphone purposes); then this headset will work with it. If your laptop is equipped with separate Audio and Microphone jacks; you would need an additional cable known as a PC splitter cable.

QuestionIs there surround sound with these? I play rainbow six siege and want to use them. I just don't know if they will be good for a game like that.

- Answer Thanks for your inquiry! The Turtle Beach Battle Buds are not interchangeable regarding which ear the Buds can be placed in. One Bud is specific to the Left Ear, and the other Bud is specific to the Right Ear. Please note that the removable Mic Boom is only able to be connected to the Left Ear Bud.

- Answer The mic is pretty light, it is heavier then the right side but if you curl it down near your mouth it will sit comfortably .

- Answer If that device is equipped with a single 3.5 mm jack for audio and microphone purposes, then the Battle Buds would be compatible. If you have two separate jacks, you would be in need of an additional PC splitter cable.

- Answer Yes - there is a mute switch on the inline volume control... you can also remove the mic as well if needed to make sure there is no audio heard.
