Yes u have to go to setting and literally update the controller.. go to setting on the Xbox menu ( have the head set plugged in the controller and the controller charger to the Xbox also) then go to system and then update controller and It will ask to update and 1 or min later Boom they work.. I know it sucks but that’s because they are not Xbox brand these are easier to connect to play station but work the same great head phones..(if u don’t have the controller charger wire u can use the charger for the headset)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The three things I would suggest is. 1: charge it (obviously you know that) 2: make sure its plugged in good and correctly (common sense) 3: try it in another thing. Sometimes gaming controllers can have a bad aux jack even if the rest of the controller seems fine. I would suggest trying it in your phone of computer to see if they work anywhere else. The switch shouldn't matter which way you flip it but try flipping it both ways in multiple devices and change the volume while doing it. And thats about really all you can do at this point. Sadly I do not think this product comes with a manufacturers warranty.
