What’s the difference in headsets? (Gen 1 vs Gen 2) null

The 600 Gen 2 will feature a new battery that will have 15 hours of battery life. It is also equipped with a new microphone boom that improves clarity and integrates in to the headset itself when turned in to the mute position. The Gen 2 chassis is also new, with a strengthened headband and hinge design for added durability.

The Gen1 was more flimsy. I had one I used for almost a year and it ended up breaking at the area where the ear cups attach to the head band. I do have a big head so that could also play a role. Regardless, the Gen 1 was of lower build quality. The Gen 2 which I bought for my son is way more sturdy and sounds better.
