• My 65 fits fine. Maybe an inch overlap on each side but no issues.

• Mine is 55" but there is room to spare. 65" should work ok.

• I have a 55" Samsung 8500, I think the stand is rated at 135 lbs. So it depends on the weight and whether the stand is centered or are the legs out near the edge.
