Will these play what songs you want them to null

This set does not have the music thingy. The music feature is a separate physical object that's sold separately, and I think it works by listening to music that you are playing in the room, and making the lights synchronize with what it hears. I don't think it plays music directly itself.

These lights have no speakers....just the ability to use bluetooth to control them with your phone
