• These are not for permanent installation. While they are able to be used outside, the control box is not waterproof and needs to be protected. If you are referring to the Govee Permanent Outdoor lifts, they are a totally different product.

• Hi there! Strings are IP44 certified, therefore outdoor safe and weatherproof, although we always advice to protect the electrical components, such as the power supply and the controller, with a dry box, to avoid water entering them. As for Dots in the 60LEDs version the USB one, it is IP20 certified, therefor only indoor. Thank you so much!
