“I connected to my home WiFi and was able to use the app to change patterns and such. Two days later the app is greyed out and I am not able to change patterns, set a timer nor turn power on/off. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!”

Try pressing the button on the control unit… I had a similar issue, and that seemed to free it up
