Yes, they are rated for outdoor use. And yes, you can program them to do all of the things you suggested here and just about anything else you might want, including having them display animated GIFs if you have them laid out right. Though you will need to go through the mapping process in the app to get the best results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I believe it's rated for outdoor use. We hung one strand outside and it survived rain and snow. You can slow down patterns and change the colors via the app rather easily. You can also save multiple custom patterns and use the playlist function which you can determine the length of each pattern (30 sec is the default), and the order each is played in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine outdoors. You can customize the speed and color thru the twinkly app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The strings, Yes to all. you can DL the Twinkly App to try it without owning the lights, the lights are very customizable. The Dots, Yes but I wouldn't use outdoors, the wire is not up for the task, broke two sets this year.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had the same brand on my roof for 3 years through heavy rainstorms during winter and they still work just fine. The customizable options come pre loaded but you can go further and customize yourself. What your explaining with the lakers colors you can link the separate sets together and set it as a wave pattern purple/yellow and it could get your desired effect hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They work just fine outdoors, even when covered with snow. You can change the speed and colors as you wish, with millions of colors available. Red, white, blue chasing, yes, you can do that. My only complaint is the software, which is not well designed, but it seems they’re stuck with it now. I added to my Twinkly collection this year, so I can certainly recommend it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 400 LEDs version is ip44 and therefore suitable for outdoor use, while the 60 LEDs version is for domestic use only. Furthermore, I confirm that it is possible to set/change the speed of the effects, and it is also possible to create customised effects, e.g. playing those of your favourite team. For more information on how effects creation works, we suggest you visit the Help section of our Effects creator with FX-Wizard site.
