• They will technically work, but the 2 and 3 are different sizes so they won't "close" well.

• No you can not because the surface 2 keyboard and screen is bigger than that of the surface 3 screen and keyboard

• the surface pro 2 keyboard WILL wor kon the surface pro 3 BUT its smaller size makes for a very ill-fitting cover for the device when you close it up. I would go for the new surface pro 3 typing cover which also has a better trackpad and can be positioned at a better typing angle.

• Yes and no. The keyboard for a surface pro 2 will fit on the 3 but will not cover the entire screen. I accidentally bought the surface pro2 keyboard for the surface pro 3 and it didn't look right. Spend the extra bucks to protect the entire screen
