A:AnswerI bought a UAG case for my Pro 6 and it works just fine. I am assuming that the Pro 7 is the same size. One thing to keep in mind is if you want to add USB ports with an adapter that you need to be very careful because the case is a bit too thick for some adapters. The case itself is well built for clumsy ol' dudes like me.
A:AnswerI have dropped it on vinyl tile and once on concrete (construction site) all from about 3-4 feet with no problems if its folded closed.
My coworker dropped his from about 5-6 ft off a scaffold and cracked the kick-stand which was locked open, but the computer was fine.
