No, it's not an M&M. It has the same rubbery consistency through out the case, it's just one single molded piece.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No hard outer shell but, it really should have one to help prevent it from slipping off the edges and corners on impact. It is one piece, is softer than a hard shell but, harder than what most inner shells would be. My screen protector chipped twice and my screen shattered (three separate incidents) with this case, all occuring at the corners of the screen and all within one month of phone and case purchase.
