Does this system require a Ubiquiti router as well? null

This system includes a wireless router and two access points/range extenders. So you connect your cable modem to the Amplifi router, configure it through the app, and you’re good to go.

No, this may function as a router or be placed in bridge mode to work with say an edgerouterX. Very easy to mamage and flexible.

Not to access the internet no. However, configuration options and security features suck in this router, so if you want those you will want to put something in front of it.
