A:AnswerMaybe mine is defective or not made to be played at full volume because it only gives roughly 3:30 hours of play on full volume. my JBL charge 3 had consistently given me more than 8 hours of play on full volume for 8 months until recently. Now, speakers aren't made to be constantly played on full volume and I understand that but if you use yours outdoor and play on full volume like I do, JBL speakers are the best , they have more powerful and longer lasting batteries. As far as sound quality they are pretty much the same.
