That is the bluetooth pair button. You push that to pair to other devices. The flashing light lets you know that it is in search mode.

The bluetooth paring button, hold it down for a few secs and you'll hear a drumming noise. That means it's ready

The little round button is supposed to be the bluetooth, if you needed to connect.
