These have an app that allows you to pair 2- its hit and miss. When it works, its awesome sounding. But sometimes two speakers do not want to pair.

You can connect two speakers, but I would recommend a larger speaker, depending on the size of your area. These speakers dont have a huge coverage area.

It is unclear from your question if you mean a large outdoor area around your home or an outdoor area while "on-the-road"
I do not believe you can sync these speakers. UE - Roll Wireless Bluetooth Speaker


I recommend and use a Sonos system setup at our house. We have a large yard, patio, and outdoor kitchen.
The Sonos system allows me to sync music in any combination of 5 different systems from indoors to outdoors. Works awesome at large parties.
Sonos is a bit expensive but to me it's worth every penny.
