• Only a compatible. But that might not be a bad thing considering the recent issues with Samsung's recent lithium battery issues.

• I believe it is just compatible, not a Samsung battery. I have been using the new one now for a couple of months and it is working great for me

• I spoke with a Samsung rep today and was told that Best Buy has a certified replacement battery. Samsung no longer manufacturers the note 4 battery.

• The battery is not the Samsung brand, but this Ultralast battery is absolutely compatible and works perfectly with the note 4.
