• I had to get a second cable box (which only cost me another $11/month on my cable bill - totally worth it) otherwise you have no real remote control with numbers or a screen menu guide to navigate channels with. Not only that, but it really does enhance the picture quite a bit.

• I don't think so. I've never heard of that app, unless you mean the Windows app. If you mean the Windows Weather Channel app, no, that's a Windows app.

• The TWC TV app is available through Roku on the TV.
