usually only10-15 seconds, but weather can affect it, obviously the closer you are makes a huge difference also

Mine just take a few seconds as long as you are in range. I have them over my garage stalls and can turn them on and off from the driveway.

It’s pretty quick once you get to the app. You must be within 15 feet of the lights. The worst part of the product is the app. It’s Hard to figure out and when I set a schedule, it kind of did it’s own thing (not what I programmed). The lights are vibrant with color and when they do work, they’re great. Just don’t expect outdoor Hue lights and you won’t be disappointed. Hope this helps.
