• Yes, it is. I am using the Apple Smart Keyboard with mine now. A piece snaps off from the side and allows for the connection.

• Yes, this case is Apple Smart Keyboard compatible. There is a piece that snaps off and allows for the keyboard to connect to the iPad's smart connector. I am using mine this way now. The case also holds the Apple Pencil very secure.
