No scrolling ticks unless you roll up very quickly, but a noise when you click. I never noticed it though. It's about the same as my keyboard when I type.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't say it makes lots of noise. Probably not any louder than they keyboard when you are typing. I never noticed the "ticks" noise of the wheel until I saw your question. It does tick but not loud enough to bother me.

As for the scroll wheel, it has a bit of noticable/feelable "notches", which I personally prefer, as it gives me a feedback that it is actually moving...
