Hi Deb I have attached a picture of all of the connection types this projector has. If you are trying to attach an AV cord then to like a small external speaker then you are good to go. If you are however trying to connect a larger speaker that would need a TS Speaker wire you will not be able to connect without some type of an adapter. I hope this helps to answer your question.
