• Hi Yes it records and recording time depends on the size of memory card used. Example larger size storage cards that are supported provide days of recordings depending on your drive time. Thanks

• Yes, it records. I put in a 128 GB MicroSD card for just that purpose. Not sure how long though; all depends on the resolution you pick and how much driving you do.
