“What is the life expectancy of these discs before they degrade and are no longer readable? I have been looking for M-DISCs on the Best Buy website and these appear to be the closest to them that Best Buy now carries.”

The Life Series DVD+R and DVD-R expected lifetime is 40+ years. Please note that M DISC™ is not available in DVD+R or DVD-R formats.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have yet to see a Verbatim disc succumb to 'DVD Rot', although conventional wisdom gives the average disc a 20 year life expectancy.
