Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DVD's are not like Vinyl LP. DVD-DL only records one side, and nothing else. The Recorder Laser Beam does 2-pass to burn first one layer, then the second layer, and it does it all automatically. If the DVD you want to copy is less than 8.5 Gb, it may fit. Copyrighted Original DVD's may not play after you record them, even if it doesn't give errors, because they are copy-protected by special encryption, to avoid piracy. But you need special software to decode the encrypted protection, that maybe is not commercially available. Avoid paying for that kind of software is they are banned. You are not supposed to sell, rent, even lend, not gift copyrighted copied Original Movies. FBI government agency sooner or later may call your attention, by law, there may be penalty for infringement. If you own the rights for the Movie you're copying, you are freely to copy and sell etc. If you back-up them for your own personal use, maybe you can. Movies recorded burned on DVD's like Single layer DVD or Double layer DVD-DL may not play in all Players. Only compatible ones if the disc is not scratched, or if it reports no errors after burning.. But it will play for sure in the same device it was recorded, and in compatible devices.
