Its not perfect, but it is within 1 block. If you need to be more exact than that, this will not do. It does ding my phone as soon as it moves out of the address I've entered. I then ask it to do a real time locate just to confirm whether it is or not. It has always been spot on. There is a bit of a learning curve... but i got is going in one evening.

Please try again later.The reviews on the app is most likely from the GizmoGadget or the GizmoPal which uses 3G service and is much slower than 4G LTE which this new Gizmo Watch has. My boys have the GizmoGadget and the GPS location has been off several times. I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced the app not working altogether. I’m excited to try out the new watch with faster service!

Please try again later.We have had the gizmo app for over a year now and it took less than a minute for location to update with an older model, we experienced no problems with the app using it regularly on an Android and Apple device. This is supposed to offer even better tracking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My child wears the watch whenever away from home. This includes during school hours. When inside the building I frequently get told the watch can not be located at that time. It will update me on the battery level from time to time but GPS is out of the question if the watch isn’t being worn near a window or outside. It could just be the building and/or our location but we live in a large midwestern city with plenty of cell towers and no mountains. The app for parents as well as the watch itself absolutely need improvement but as early iterations they are good starts. Certainly far better for us than a smart phone that has no or limited parental controls and can call anywhere and be called/sent messages from anywhere. I recommend it while advising people be aware this is essentially still in beta.
