• your phone number is portable, but can't be active on two devices at the same time. Your contacts, pictures, or other files depend on the phone models and carriers. You may need to store stuff in the clouds from your own phone and then download to your new phone. Additionally, depending on what devices you own, you can maybe transfer files from phone to computer to phone.
