Great phone for the price, easy to use and fits my needs. Only has one speaker on right side but sounds loud and clear to me. 100% better than the LG K20 it replaced, I'd buy it again!

However, it is locked to Verizon network until you spend $75 in monthly service fees (see the back of the box for details). After you spend $75, Verizon will unlock the phone for you so you can use with any other cell phone network.

It should as it supports CDMA , GSM and LTE. The 2018 version of this phone is marketed as a "world phone". However the 2017 and 2018 both support the same signalling and frequencies.
