Hi there, these Rock Speakers have a rechargeable battery lasts for 50 hours (depending on exposure to sunlight) and fully recharges in 6 hours. They will continue to charge when exposed to the sun. Depending on how frequently you're using them and whether or not they have direct exposure to sunlight, you should be able to leave them powered on for days at a time.
