Lag and out of sync audio are not common with current updates on computers that meet the system requirements. Please ensure your system meets the basic requirements for video capture first. To further troubleshoot, uninstall the software, and try reinstalling the software and the driver separately from the VIDBOX website to ensure you have the latest updates. If the issue continues, please also check for places that can slow down the data transfer - test other USB ports, use direct USB connections if you are using USB extensions or USB hubs, save to an internal drive location if the data is currently being recorded to an external location.
