Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The VIDBOX cannot create DVD's by itself. It merely converts the original recording into a digital file that a computer can play back. If your computer has DVD burning software, this is what you would use to create a DVD that can be played on a standard TV. For a professionally finished look to your video-titles, effects, sound, chapters, etc., check out i-movie included with Macs. Also, there are several brands of relatively inexpensive editing and DVD authoring software available.

Please try again later.Without reading anything about this product my best guess would be yes yes yes, it shows a vhs with Mac on it meaning that it should record to dvd on Mac, but it doesn't say anything about a cassette so knowing that; my best guess is that no cassette but yes to vhs using a Mac, but if you have a player for the cassette you should be able to plug in the red and yellow cords to get them to burn on a dvd using vidbox, those are the video and sound cables. Hope this helps, it is a good idea to ask questions before you buy, and to check product rating it will save you some time and headache in my opinion, as well as reading any instruction on product box you intend to purchase.
