“I'm setting up the VIDBOX to convert VHS tapes to DVD on my laptop. At Step 5 I get error: "The selected device cannot be used. Select another device." The VCR works fine. I've tried the three USB plug spots on the laptop. What am I doing wrong? Thanx”

• This message would most commonly be due to a permissions setting in Windows that does not allow apps to use video/camera and audio/microphone recording devices.
