• Depending on the other symptoms you see, this may be normal. The Record button becomes gray when it has been clicked, and the Stop button becomes lit up instead. This would indicate it is in the middle of recording. However, if both the Record and the Stop buttons are grayed out for more than a few seconds and neither becomes lit again, this software is likely getting locked up somewhere. Test another USB port to see if you get better results after restarting the program. Restart the computer if the issue is not resolved. You may also want to uninstall and reinstall the VIDBOX application using the current updated on the VIDBOX website.
