Looking at the HP listing for that model, it appears to have a USB-C port but only for power. As such, you will need two cables; a power and a video cable. You can connect the USB-C from the ViewSonic to the USB-C on the HP. Additionally, you will connect the mini-HDMI from the ViewSonic to the HDMI on the HP.
