Q: QuestionHow does this monitor compare to a 27" iMac display? Are their any monitors that have that same look as apple retina?

• A:Answer Sadly no one at Best Buy cares to give an answer. THey depend on others that may or may not know what they are talking about to answer. Because BB is just TOO big to answer a SMALL customer question.

• A:Answer Mine can adjust from 20.5" (desk to top of monitor) up to 25.5" (desk to top of monitor). It doesn't sound like much, but it makes a big difference for eye angle. The stand also pivots and swivels. It's excellent.

Q: QuestionCan this monitor be made to slide lower down so it's less than an inch above table surface? Or is there an alternate stand available that's not so ridiculously tall?

Q: QuestionThis monitor is pre-calibrated from the factory. I would like to know if reseting the monitor to factory settings (using All Recall in the menu) will discard the color calibration. Or is the calibrated profile saved and set as default? Thank you.

• A:Answer Yes, the monitor has two internal speakers and the sound quality is adequate to good-enough. These are the only external speakers I have connected to my computers. Having said that, the volume control is quite responsive. If you turn the volume all the way up they are quite loud. The sound quality out of the audio-out [green jack] is superior.
