• Also the conductor size is dictated by the amps- I recall this was 50 amps circuit- we had to have the previous wiring to the panel replaced with heavier gauge, plus the higher capacity breaker.

• Yes, you will need 240 volts. It is a direct wire in a junction box. Not plug in
