Yes it will work fine. you just need to get a Hub to convert video signal over to HDMI or Display port. This is assuming you have a newer Mac book Pro based on USB C / Thunderbolt 3.

If your MacBook has an hdmi out, yes. If it doesn't, I'm sure apple has made a dongle for it, so yes again.
