I had mine installed by the professional auto tech at my local Best Buy. The manufacturer does not support DIY.

I bet it will work fine in your vehicle, but I recommend 2 things:

1. Go by your local Best Buy that offers installation and confirm it will work for your vehicle and

2. Consider the adding on the Viper VSM450 module to their DS4 system. This module allows you to operate the system from your cell phone. This requires a plan from Viper. The one way remote in the DS4 box is limited in functionality. If you are not interested in the Viper cellular module and plan, I would recommend you add-on a pair of additional remotes that offer 2 way communication.
