I would think the system works the same with each vehicle but may be wrong. You need a key to drive (you put key in a turn as if starting, even though it’s already running) and it stays running when I open the door of my 2010 challenger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 2010 F150 and yes it will continue to run when the door is open. It will run up to 12 minutes without a key. Yes you will still need the key to drive because if not, as soon as you press on brakes the truck will turn off.
